This Privacy Policy explains how Relay, a service of Kaizen Operations ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit relay.kaizenoperations.ca (the "Site"). We aim to keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the Site is used.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your first name, email address, business name, and phone number.

Information collected automatically. If you consent to analytics cookies (see below), we use Google Analytics to collect standard usage data such as the pages you view, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. We do not collect this analytics data until you accept cookies.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visitor behaviour. By default, analytics cookies are disabled. The first time you visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline. We only set analytics cookies if you accept.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser (which removes your saved choice and shows the banner again), or by declining when prompted. We use Google Consent Mode to honour your choice.

How we use your information

Service providers

• Google Fonts — web fonts served from Google's CDN, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering them.

Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for our reasonable business records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period.

International transfers

Our service providers (Google and Netlify) may process and store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this happens, your information is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to analytics at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
